LFF116
Pressure Relief, Sustaining or Backpressure Control Valve
Series LFF116 and LFF1116 pressure relief, sustaining, or backpressure control valves permit flow when upstream pressure exceeds the adjustable pilot setpoint and throttle toward the closed position as upstream pressure falls below the setpoint. Depending on installation, the valve functions as a pressure relief valve when mounted off the main line, a pressure sustaining valve when installed between distribution zones, or a backpressure control valve when installed on pump discharge to maintain required upstream pressure.
SentryPlus Alert® technology adds intelligent pressure monitoring and notification, using integrated sensors to track pressure fluctuations at up to three points and assess valve performance in real time.
When paired with an ACV, the Sensor Control Monitor kit issues maintenance alerts (such as when differential pressure rises above a preset limit) and communicates either through BAS integration via RS‑485 Modbus or through the Nexa® platform over Wi‑Fi.
The valve’s internals are protected by ArmorTek®, a multilayer corrosion‑resistant coating engineered to extend service life in demanding environments.

Features
- ArmorTek coating technology to resist corrosion of internals
- Permits flow when upstream pressure is above the adjustable setpoint of the control pilot
- When installed "off the main line" on the branch of a tee, the valve serves as a Pressure Relief Control Valve
- When installed "in line" connecting two distribution zones, the valve acts as a Pressure Sustaining Control Valve
- When installed "in line" on the discharge of a pump, it acts as a Backpressure Control Valve
- Integrates with the Sensor Control Monitor to deliver maintenance alerts to BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa platform by Wi-Fi connectivity
