PWS20P-L
Watts Pure Water Progressive Water Softening Systems - Duplex, Triplex and Quadplex – 2 IN FNPT Inlet/Outlet, with Grain Capacities Ranging from 150,000 to 600,000
PWS20P-L Watts Pure Water Progressive Water Softening System Series is built for high-demand environments where elevated flow rates and uninterrupted soft water delivery are essential. Available in duplex, triplex, and quadplex configurations, these systems are ideal for point-of-use or point-of-entry applications in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.
Each system uses a conventional cation exchange process to remove scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions, replacing them with non-scale-forming sodium ions to ensure consistent water quality. At the heart of every unit is the Watts LOCKSMITH™ control valve—a durable, corrosion-resistant brass valve that is highly configurable and easy to maintain. Operated by an electronic controller, the valve stores key operational history and supports metered, demand-initiated regeneration, reducing water, salt, and energy consumption.
With grain capacities ranging from 150,000 to 600,000, and mineral tank diameters from 18 to 36 inches, each tank contains 5 to 20 cubic feet of high-capacity ion exchange resin. Flow rates reach up to 119 gallons per minute per tank, and all models include NSF and ANSI certified components with standard 2" FNPT inlet/outlet and 1" to 1½" MNPT drain connections, depending on the model.
The progressive system design allows tanks to activate sequentially as demand increases, ensuring scalable, efficient soft water performance. Whether configured as duplex, triplex, or quadplex, these systems deliver reliable, continuous operation for a wide range of high-flow applications.
