PWS15P-L
Watts Pure Water Progressive Water Softening Systems - Duplex, Triplex and Quadplex – 1 1/2 IN FNPT Inlet/Outlet, with Grain Capacities Ranging from 150,000 to 600,000
PWS15P-L Watts Pure Water Progressive Water Softening System Series is engineered for high-demand environments where elevated flow rates and uninterrupted soft water delivery are critical. Available in duplex, triplex, and quadplex configurations, these systems are ideal for point-of-use or point-of-entry applications in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.
Each system utilizes a conventional cation exchange process to remove scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions, replacing them with non-scale-forming sodium ions to ensure consistent water quality. The series features the advanced Watts LOCKSMITH™ control valve, a durable, corrosion-resistant brass valve that is highly configurable and easy to maintain. Operated by an electronic controller, the valve stores key operational history and supports metered, demand-initiated regeneration, optimizing efficiency by reducing water, salt, and energy consumption.
With grain capacities ranging from 150,000 to 300,000, and mineral tank diameters from 18 to 24 inches, each tank contains 5 cubic feet of high-capacity ion exchange resin. Flow rates reach up to 100 gallons per minute per tank, and all models include NSF and ANSI certified components with standard 1 ½" FNPT inlet/outlet and 1" MNPT drain connections.
The progressive system design ensures that additional tanks activate as demand increases, delivering scalable, efficient soft water performance around the clock—whether in duplex, triplex, or quadplex configurations.
