Series CSM‑82‑F static balancing valves are engineered for effective hydronic system balancing in medium‑ to high‑volume flow HVAC applications. Featuring an angled globe valve design, the series allows for precise and repeatable flow adjustment to support accurate system commissioning and long‑term performance. A unique cylindrical plug design provides full flow capability while minimizing pressure drop and reducing operating torque.
Models in 1‑1/4 to 2 inch sizes are equipped with a cross‑handle shutoff for compact operation and easy adjustment, while models in 2‑1/2 to 12 inch sizes feature a handwheel shutoff designed for smooth operation and positive control. Both shutoff options improve accessibility and ease of use during installation, balancing, and maintenance.
Constructed with a durable ductile iron body, CSM‑82‑F valves are built for long service life in demanding HVAC environments. Easily accessible pressure monitoring ports with drip caps simplify flow measurement and system diagnostics.
