PVS-7000
FEBCO Engineered Flood Protection Valve Station
To meet exacting application requirements, FEBCO PVS-7000 Engineered Flood Protection Valve Station with SentryPlus Alert® technology delivers a single solution for backflow prevention to protect against costly flooding caused by high-volume relief valve discharge. This configured water flow control system is assembled from proven and reliable components: Watts Series LFF113FP automatic control valve, a FEBCO industry-leading, high-performance Reduced Pressure Zone backflow preventer, and SentryPlus Alert technology.
Flood protection against property damage is engineered through the control valve, regulating flow by hydraulic actuator, and the RPZ backflow preventer equipped with a flood sensor on the relief valve. The relay box provides power to the Solenoid bypass valve mounted on the control valve and to the activation module attached to the flood sensor. This drop-in valve station is factory preassembled and tested, ensuring quality and flow performance for critical building demands.
Designed for use with building management systems, the control valve curtails water supply during potential flood conditions and features a reverse flow design for failsafe operation and a control valve switch that indicates closure.
SentryPlus Alert technology detects abnormal relief valve discharge and, through the relay box, energizes the Solenoid bypass to close the control valve. The technology also includes a time delay to prevent false alarms from intermittent or nuisance discharge as well as an option for cellular network connectivity to generate alerts wirelessly for swift response.
